While the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives coordinates government-wide efforts to expand partnerships with quality nonprofit organizations and strengthen their work, ongoing implementation of this vision is executed by the eleven Centers for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives located within major agencies across the Federal government.   

The Center for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives at the U.S. Department of Labor has opened a competitive application process for organizations desiring to receive cost-free technology and training to build simple-but-effective case management and results tracking systems.  Identifying and tracking measurable results can contribute greatly to an organization's effectiveness, growth, and long-term improvement.

Applications will be accepted from all organizations that provide services related in some way to helping individuals succeed in finding, securing and/or keeping a good job.

1. "e-Postcard" Regulations - Comments Due February 15, 2008

The IRS and Treasury Department have issued guidance to clarify how and when certain small tax-exempt organizations must file an annual electronic notice.  Comments must be submitted by February 15, 2008.
